About

Andy Pearson is the driving force behind Paperspace Facades, an independent drafting studio based in Fremantle, Western Australia. With over 25 years of experience in Australia and the UK, he’s built a solid reputation for precision, diligence, and top-tier work in facade drafting and design.

Andy’s journey began in the UK, honing his skills on major commercial projects including Vodafone’s Newbury HQ, Le Meridien Hotel in Lisbon, the Royal Opera House in London, and Wimbledon Centre Court refurbishments.

In 2011, he swapped hemispheres for Perth, joining Com-Al Windows and diving into the new challenges presented in W.A., with projects spanning from regional cyclone-rated facades like the Gorgon Project Admin Centre on Barrow Island and the South Hedland Recreation Centre, to major metro landmarks, including Perth Children’s Hospital, the Harry Perkins Institute, and UWA’s Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre.

In 2016, Andy launched Paperspace Facades with a clear objective: to bridge the gaps between the architect’s concept, the engineer’s technical requirements, and the practical needs of fabricators and installers, facilitating a smooth transition from design to site.

With a wealth of hands-on expertise, industry knowledge, and sharp attention to detail, Andy is the draftsman you want on your project.

“I commend you on a great job – and for the help you’ve given us throughout the project. You deserve credit for how it all came together, and the quality of drawings made all our lives easier. Many thanks from the ASA team.”
